Therom: Time and Money are mutually eclusive, you can only have one or the other.

Corolary: sometimes you have neither.

Take my schedule for instance. I don’t do a whole lot. I’m just trying to find a job and get back to China, not neccessarily in that order and possibly both. Yet I find things to fill my days. Meetings, conferences. Look at my weekends, It’s November before I have a totally unplanned weekend.

Sept 21 – backpacking?
Sept 28 – Harvest
Oct 4 – Hiking on skyline?
Oct 11 – EMU home comming
Oct 18 – Jeff’s wedding / Messiah home comming
Oct 25 – Class Reunion

(btw this is just a creative way of storing my weekend schdule in a place i won’t easily forget it)

It’s rough to be job hunting in an employers market. Everbody wants 3-5 years experience and there is no longer any such thing as an entry level position.

I called the crash of the dot.coms, any tech worth his salt would have. It never really bothered me too much. I was still in school and didn’t think that it would affect the engineering market too much, but lo and behold, all the engineers who jumped ship in the bomb fallout did create a glut in our industry as well. I went to China instead of taking a Job, a decision I don’t regret. I’d like to go back to China, but it the meantime, I’d be nice to have a source of cash.

There is no such thing as a free lunch. So I put my blog back up after having one of my servers have issues

I’m poor right now. I don’t feel like spending money on a hosting service. So i host my site at several places trying to pulling togeather multiple elements in tables to make things work right. One server i’ve have access to mysql one server i have access to dns, one server i have ssh & webhosting, etc. … so thus my site is “free” but i pay in time and quality of service. hopefully now things will be a bit more stable.
